The Final Begin is the final room in the game - where White Face confronts the player after they go through the door in the Door Room.
Events[]
When you pick the EXIT door over the red flower and go through it in the Door Room, the game closes and the next time you start it you will be in a black-and-white version of the Begin room, which is this one.
Everything goes like in the normal Begin room. Collect the key under the table and open the closet. But upon going to the ladder, a glitched, corrupted version of White Face will appear, along with a very loud sound. It will proceed to call you out on your decision via red text painted on the walls (and on the bottom of the screen in the 2022 version). This reads:
I BEGGED YOU, AND YOU IGNORED MY REQUEST
WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN NEXT?
YOU MADE THIS GAME UNPLAYABLE
I MADE THIS GAME UNPLAYABLE
I DON'T WANT YOU TO KILL ME
I WILL LIVE HERE FOREVER
I WILL LOOK AT YOU FOREVER
I DON'T WANT TO DIE
I'M SCARED
This will follow with White Face screaming and ambushing the player, and booting them from the game like usual. Upon reloading the game, White Face will continue to ambush the player a total of 3 times in order to (attempt to) prevent you from killing it. It will continue to "shout" phrases such as "YOU DON'T EVEN DESERVE TO BE TOUCHED". It will continue to take its rage out on you, even presenting you with the chair and noose from his room and demanding that you "JUST DIE ALREADY". The walls at this point will read "I BEGGED YOU AND YOU IGNORED MY REQUEST".
Continuing to load up the game will eventually lead to White Face exposing its heart to the player. When this happens, the room will have White Face's heart in the middle, and a new file called "heart." will appear inside the imscared folder. On the walls, there will be written "I'M SCARED". The player cannot leave the game.
Opening the heart file will show the following text:
I suppose you're satisfied
I'm scared
I am scared to the point that I cannot hide my heart anymore
Destroy this file, move it, change its name: the game will end, and so will my curse
Leave me here, I beg you, I want to stay here with you just a little more
Just a little more
But I do know
Farewell
Upon doing any of the things listed, the game will immediately switch to daytime, turning the game from a metahorror game to a walking simulator. From this point on there will be no jumpscares and some rooms will become inaccessible (including White Face's Room).
Trivia[]
Before White Face is deleted[]
- It's implied in the final text that White Face, even though it knew that the player would stop at nothing to finish the game, still wanted to be with them even for a short while.
After White Face is deleted[]
- On the bricks that wall off White Face's room, "IMSCARED / THE END" is written, meaning that this is the true ending of the game.
- The menu can no longer be accessed, and is skipped when you launch the game. For the 2022 version, it's not very good because you can access options from the menu.
- Leaving the game will save your location, and you will be still in that location when you launch the game again.
- There's still some things you can do after the game is finished. Press M on the keyboard while looking through the gates in the Street. You might encounter someone new.
- Normally, when moving from one map to another, the screen goes black. However, after White Face is deleted, the screen will instead go cyan (sky-colored) or white.
